Welcome to the official website of the Correct Craft 2008 Jr. U.S. Open Water Ski Championships.  Here is where you will find information regarding the showcase of waterskiing’s youth that is the Jr. U.S. Open.  The world’s top skiers in each of three events (Slalom Trick and Jump) and two age divisions (Under 17, and 17-21) will compete under International Water Ski Federation rules for the prestigious U.S. Open Title.  Correct Craft, and their local dealer, Land N Sea Collections, have teamed up to ensure the success of this event by making the Ski Nautique the exclusive towboat of the 2008 Jr. U.S. Open.   This event is the first of what will be a long tradition of world class water sports events at this premier water ski site.  The West Chester area boasts many fine restaurants, excellent shopping, first class lodging, and is close to both the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International, and the Dayton Airports.  Skiers will be warmly greeted by a crowd expected to be in excess of 5000 per day.  Sponsors will have the ability to showcase their products on site.  The event will be webcast live via the world wide web!  The organizers of this event have a long tradition of event promotion dating back to the 1950’s and ranging from water ski events, to drag boat races, to concerts, to Hot Air Balloon Rallies, to community festivals.  The Local organizing club, the Lottawatta Skiers, is committed to making this the best Jr. U.S. Open ever.  Please check back often for news and information regarding this event - we are excited to be your hosts.
